WHO WE ARE
- Founded in 2008 to provide child victims of abuse a safe place where they can find care for their physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs
- Based in Dili and provides support for young women and children from across Timor-Leste.
- Sheltered more than 300 children, providing short-term and long- term assistance
- Work closely with relevant government agencies and civil society partners
MISSION
- To provide a safe place for child victims of violence and abuse, where they can receive care for their physical, mental, social and spiritual needs; facilitating their return to complete health/wellness, to families and communities with a restored self-confidence and self-esteem.
VISION
- To promote the right to life, protection and citizenship as guaranteed by the Constitution of Timor-Leste and the UN’s “Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Our Projects
The training programs in CASA VIDA aims to help young girls in crisis situations to become healthy, happy, well-adjusted, educated and skilled.
Casa Vida runs a popular cafe & restaurant called “Aroma” and also the enterprise “Arte Vida”.

Social work team works closely with partners to develop campaigns against child violence and promoting human rights in Timor-Leste.

Casa Vida support the residents to attend school and provides training to help children and young people coming from crisis situations.

Safe reintegration process with Social Service team and partners. the social service remains in contact with the client to follow its trajectory.
